Being an evil upstream as I am, am closing this bug as invalid, at least until we figure out if its libburn problem or what. :)))

There's a stack trace. Not really debugging quality, but it is clear that the problem is about reading the session-track structure of a CD media. The affected function was introduced August 2008 as revision 1975 to 0.5.1.

xfburn has few chance to cause that. It looks rather like a co-production of libburn, drive and media. (Normally this works. Really. I swear.)

I will show up in that bug thread and make some proposals.

The bug turned out to be caused by a missing leadout entry in the reply of 43h READ TOC/PMA/ATIP (Format 0010b).

It is not clear yet whether the problem is related to the individual media or to the drive. Maybe it is a legal state for CDs ? Whatever, it gets caught and roughly handled in libburn-0.5.7 meanwhile.

libburn-0.5.8 is released now. It is supposed to fix this bug.
